Data Centre Service (DSC) Governance is part of UK IT Operations and is responsible for the management of the outsourced data centre services provided by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) vendor.We currently have a vacancy for a Service Manager to work as part of the DCS Governance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that PwC maximises the commercial and business value from our outsourced data centre arrangement.
Applicants must be customer and delivery focused with previous relevant Service Management experience in an IT Service Delivery environment and will ideally demonstrate:
Experience of managing services within Service Level Agreements (SLA) and assisting in the development/modification of new SLAs as required
Experience of service management within a large, demanding operational environment (ideally ITIL certified) Strong customer facing skills; Strong commercial and financial acumen
Well developed communications skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively interface with senior management, technologists and business users,
An ability to work in a changing and challenging environment while maintaining awareness of activities outside the specific area of responsibility; An ability to summarise issues, analyse metrics and reports and present to senior management;
Key Responsibilities;
To provide an interface and escalation point between the PwC business and the vendor services
The development and on-going monitoring of contractual SLA’s and associated service credits
Managing the delivery of the services with a significant budgetary focus Establishment and chairing of service reviews both internally with key business units and externally with vendor services. Review of proposals against PwC strategy and also ensuring contractual alignment
